True Story: We bumped into David Lee Roth from Van Halen at Katz’s Delicatessen after we booked the Parkside Lounge, we had a great conversation with him on the corner about rock and roll and what our goals were for the band and even invited him to the show. During that conversation he basically decided to become a regular guy and was talking about coming a paramedic. We were all standing there with our jaws hitting the floor and he simply said, “I want to help people now…Happy 4th of July”. The SoHo gig was fantastic. The flier made Traders Magazine only a few people picked out the Brooklyn Bridge bunny ears on my head. I think we walked up half way to get the shot.
